BAD WEATHER EXPERIENCED

The weather for People's Day (yesterday) of the Manawatu Show was very unfavourable, and the attendance was m consequence affected. The remaining results were:—• Jersey Cattle.—The awards in the cow section were published in The Post last evening. For bulls the championship went to F. J. Watson (Bulls), and the reserve championship to E. Eagles, inn. (Belvedere). The M'Crea Trophy lvalue 20 gumeas), for a group of three purebred Jersey cows in. milk, was secured by S. K. Lancaster. G. M'Rae, R. D. Harkness, and F. J. Watson each secured first among Jersey bulls. ' Draught Horses.—The cfiampion draughts were shown by the Donald Estate, Featherston. The Knijrhi Cun, for the best filly and two progeny, went to J. Donald (F«atherston). In the general list the Donald Estate secured five farsts and one second; Arthur Tocker teatherston, one first, two seconds, and one third; J. Bambery, Palmerston North, was the most successful with four. ' firsts, one second, and one third. The New Zealand Jirpress Company, Palmerston North, secured three firsts and two seconds; the Wellington branch, three seconds and three thirds; the Donald Estate and A.
