RAILWAYMEN AND INCREASED PAY. (BI TELEGRAPH.—PRESS. ASSOCIATION.) GORE, This Day.
The Gore branch of the Amalgamated Railway Servants has resolved to, urge their executive to make immediate representation to the Government for an increase of wages of at leaet two shillings per day per member, in view of the cost of living and the failure of the Government to keep the price of commodities at & reasonable level.
