RUGBY FOOTBALL
To-day a representative team from Wellington is playing an Auckland representative team at Auckland. Much interest is being shown in the match in both centres. A feature of the game will be the absence of wing-forwards, the man with! the roving commission having been made as extra half-back by an agreement between the two unions. The team from Wellington is as follows: — Morton ('Varsity), A. Thomas, Coles, Comer, and Cowie (Petone), Aitken ('Varsity), Porter, Hanson, Hislop, and Scott (Old Boys), Baker, Black, and Desmond (Poneke), Pole (Petone), Caddick (Oriental).
