CALM BUT DULL
j; Although not so fine as yesterday was, to-day's weather has been by no means unpleasant. Calm but dull conditions have prevailed, and fair weather is reported from most parts of the country. The indications are for fair to cloudy weather, but with increasing haze and cloudiness generally, and rain following in the northern and southernmost dis tricts. Northerly winds may be expected, increasing strong to gale at times north of Kawhia and East Cape, and variable with moderate to strong northcrlisa prevailing and freshening elsewhere. The glass has a falling tendency.
