Many soldiers returning to Wellington from Easter leave in the south were held up at Lyttelton ' to-night owing to theMararoa being a full' boat: A good number had booked their berths, but all soldiers arriving by the second express were refused admission to- the ferry sfeamer.' ,The 'blockade was caused ,by only one vessel being, available ,• for the return of the, passengers : who came south, by the Maori on . Wednesday, and the . Mararoa and Te Anau on Thursday last.
