BATHING FATALITY

DUNEDIN, 25th February
Wliile surf-bathing at Ocean Beach, near Forbury, this morning, a man nanied Andrew Kay, about 25 years of a-ge i g°t into difficulties, and, although a good swimmer, was drowned before assistance couliJ reach him. The body had not ]>een recovered this afternoon. Deceased was unmai-ried, and employed as an operator in the Telegraph Department. '.'He had only recently come to Dunedin from Auckland.
