A GREAT DEMONSTRATION IN

Fine weather favoured the " Win-the-war " day. The streets were taken possession of by hosts of ladies securing signatures to the " Win-the-War" League pledge ik> give assistance in one direction or another towards securing victory. They did a roaring trade in sixpenny membership buttons. Bands wore stationed at central positions, and there werp many open-air speakers.
