VESSELS LOST
LONDON, 23rd February. The steamer Perseus has been Bunk. Four of the crew are missing.
The steamer John Miles (657 tons) has been sunk. Four survivors, all of them injured, have landed, with two of their dead. Eight are missing.
The captain, with two others, were lost when the Rosalie was torpedoed, and the Corio's captain, engineers, and two gunners were taken prisoner.
[The sinking of the Rosalie and the Corio was reported yesterday.]
