, LONDON 1, 22nd February Batter.—Poor ■ Australian steamers with 145,000 boxes of butter, and two Irom New Zealand with 72,000 boxes, have arrived at London, and several others are close at hand, but prices are well maintained owing to the slow discharge of cargoes. Choicest New Zealand unsalted sells a 224s to 226s per cwt, and secondaries make 2205. Salted brinps about 2s more than unsalted, owing, to the demand for the north' era markets, which are bare of Danish. Choicest Australian makes 214s to 2165, and for exceptionally good lots 218s to 220s is obtained; secondaries br.ing 208s to 210s. Cheese.—ln very strong demand, but little is available Canadian is nominally about 160s per cwt. Wheat.—Prices for parcels per steamer are firm. ■ Flour.—Prime Anstralian patents make 62s 6d per sack of 2801b." '" • ' ' Oats.—Market firm; no La Platas offering. 1 Peas and Beans.—Scarce, and market firm. New Zealand supplies are exhausted. Sugar.—American granulated is unchanged, at 41s 7Jd per cwt. Silver—ln bars, 37 9-16 d per ounce standard. Copper.—Standard, on the spot, £139 10s per ton; at three months, £137. Tin.—Straits, on the spot, £197 7s 6d per ton. Lead.—Soft foreign, £30 10s per ton. Spelter.—G.O.B., cash, £5G 15s per ton; forward, £52 15s.
