MOTOR-CYCLE ACCIDENT

TAUMARUNUI, 22nd Feb. B. A. Seattle, agent fpr Messrs. Dalgety.and Co., was motor-cycling to 31atiero from here yesterday afternoon when he fell over a bank beyond the summit of the Ohaku Tunnel' Hill, and rolled down a precipice for a distance of one and a-half chains. He pulled up on a ledge, where he remained unconscious for an hour. He "then called out, and his dogs, barking, attracted two men who wore passing on the road. Assistance was obtained, and Beattie wa.s brought out by a horse, afterwards by motor-car to .Taumarunui Hospital. He sustained injuries to his spine and a dislocated shoulder. ■
