ACTION AGAINST NEW ZEALAND

SHIPPING COMPANY.

The civil action in which Richard Wright, carpenter, proceeded against the" New Zealand Shipping Company to recover the sum of £500, as damages for injuries received in the course of his employment on the steamer Ruahine, on Ist July, was concluded after The Post went to press yesterday. The case was heard before his Honour Mr. Justice Chapman and a common jury of four. Mr. P. J. O'Regan appeared for the plaintiff and Mr. M.
