Thorndon Club.—ln the semi-final of the .'dub rink competition Ross beat Cohen by 18' to 10, and Plimmer beat .Wiggins by 16 to 10. The final was then played between Chittey, Seaton, Burdekiu, Ross (skip), and Dumbell, Gamble, Hogben, Plimmer (skip). Ross won by 13 to 13. Karori sent along Roberts, Rigg, Crawford, Cooper (skip) to contest the Feathers with Murdoch, Freeman, Wilson, Conlin' (skip), the result being: Thorndon 31, Karori 16.

Wellington Club v. The World.—On Saturday next that particularly attractive fixture in the bowling calendar,: the Wellington Club versus The'World,'will be played on the Wellington Club's green. It is not unnatural to suppose that, when each of the other clubs put hi a fairly strong rink, Wellington would not have much chance in opposing them, but the record in this fixture has been a wonderful one, for never yet has the Wellington Club been defeated in this fixture. Bowlers are already conjecturing whether next Saturday's contest will break the spell. Some strong teams have already been arranged. Eastbourne Team's.—The following players will represent Eastbourne against Wellington next Saturday:—Levi, Chitty, Morris. Shortt (skip).
