LATEST APPOINTMENTS.

Latest appointments, promotions, and transfers in tho New Zealand Medical | Corps are announced as follow :— j Surgeon-General Sidney Skerman, V.D., Reserve of Officers, relinquishes the appointment of camp medical officer (dated 19th February, 1916), and.is ap pointed a member of a Special District Medical Board, with pay and allowances of lieutenant-colonel (dated 16th January, 1917). . Lieut.-Col. (temporary) Walter Fox, M.8., M.S., relinquishes the appointment of a member of the Special District Medical Board (dated 25th January, 1917), and 1 is granted the rank of lieuten-ant-colonel whilst acting as medical superintendent of the Christchurch Hospital (dated 25th January, 1917). Major (temporary Lieut.-Col.) James Sands Elliott, M.D., Edin., resumes the duties of Assistant Director of Medical Services, Wellington' Medical District (dated 18th January, 1917). Capt. (temporary Lieut.-Col.) William Kington Fyffe relinquishes the appointment of Assistant-Director of Medical Services, Wellington Military Disr trict (dated 16th January, 1917). Tho undermentioned are , granted the temporary _ rank of lieutenant-colonel whilst holding the appointment as members of a Special District Medical Board : Capt.
