SPAIN RECEIVES NOTICE
TRADE ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED,
.'.. • MADRID, Ist February. The German Note, which has been handed to the Spanish Government, says that Germany and Austria will forbid absolutely all commerce between neutral countries and the Allies, and will torpedo all ships without respect to flag or cargo. Germany will give all ships five days in which to-return to neutral ports.
