Waimate Handicap, of 250 soys; six fulongs.—Tete-a-tete, 9.13, 1; Hushman, 8.3, 2; Tree Lucerne, 7.9, 3. Scratched : Coropet. Won by a head. Time, lmin Msec. :
Farmers' Plate, of 100 eovs; one mile and a distance.—Union Jack, 10.0, 1 ; Lord Nelson, 10.13, 2; Draft, 10.2, 3. Scratched : Normanby, Interval, and Praefectus. Won by two lengths. Time, 2min 2sec.
