LONDON, 31st January. AVireless, per Admiralty Press.—A German official message states: We stormed a forest position on the east bank of the Aa River, and repulsed strong counter attacks. We took prisoner over nine hundred.
After strong attacks southward of Putna- Valley (Rumania) the Russians penetrated a- point d'appui. Ottoman forces drove back strong reconnoitring parties, in the neighbourhood of the Danube.-
