■■ LONDON, 31st January. A French communique states: .We effectively bombarded enemy works in the region of the Woevre., A detachment penetrated the first.and second lines of German trenches south of Leintrey in Lorraine. We conducted a successful coup-de-main against an enemy pest in the region of MorcaJ, where, and also in the Vosges, there have been numerous patrol encounters.
