The frost shows no signs of breaking. Tha hydraulic gear at the West India. Dock became frozen, and the entrance was blocked. Many barges are frozen fast in the London Docks. For the first time for years the upper reaches o£ the Thames are frozen. With a new to minimising risks, the Government has given an urgent order for gloves for munition workers.
