PRODUCE PRICES

The N.Z. Farmers' Co-operative Distributing Co. reports to-day produce prices as follow — Vegetables—Southern potatoes, £9 to £9 10s per ton. Cabbage, choice, 10s to lis; medium, 5s to 7s per sack. Cauliflower, choice, 12s to 14s; medium, 8s to 10s sack. Carrots, best; 5s to 6s; others, 4s to 5s sack. Onions, £7 10s per ton. Turnips, white, 2s to 3s per sack. Leeks, 6d *to 9d per bundle. ' Lettuce, 3s to 6s per case. Spinach, 3s to 4s per case. Beetroot, 3s 6d to 4s 6d per sack. Spring onion, Is to Is 3d bunch. Marrows, 2s 6d to 3s 6d per case. Swedes, 2s 6d to 3s 6d per cwt. Pumpkins, 6s to 6s per sack. Parsnips, 8s to 10s per 6aok.

Fruit—Apples, dessert, choice, 10s to 13s; ditto cooking, 8s to 9s per case. Pears, choice dessert, Winter Nelis, 16s to 16s per case. Lemons, 18s per case.'

General—Dressed pork, 70's to 90's, 6Jd to ' 7d; 90's to 100's, 6Jd to 6j|d. BacOners, 6d. Choppers (heavy), 4d per lb. Honey, in' 60'e, 5Jd to 6d per lb. Eggs, fresh. Is Id per dozen. Beeswax, Is 6d per lb. Fundus, 6Jd to 7d per lb. Walnuts, 9d to lOd per lb.
