SHARP RISE IN PRICES,
, \ LONDON, 16th August. The wheat market is weak, on a heavy decline in America.
The visible supplies of wheat ea;St of the Rockies are' estimated at 87.098,000 quarters. In the Chicago wheat pit there has been a sharp advance- on the official anticipations that the threshings of the spring wheat will reveal a disaster worse than was expected, options are quoted at from 135 cents to 142-J cents; December, from 138 cents to 146£ cents.
