PROSPECTS MUCH BETTER

The prospects for the French wine crop are much brighter. The latest estimate is about 40,000.000 hectolitres. Labour is more plentiful, as the authorities arc lending troops for the work.
[A hectolitre, roughly, is equal to 22 gallons.]
