The Kaiser's chief chaplain, Dr. Dryander, has returned from, the West front. He preached an indignant sermon in the Berlin Cathedral, denouncing the so-called "grumble" of wives.

He declared , that criticisms and dispntings were imperilling Germany, and especially denounced the complaints of dear food and short rations, and the recriminations between Prussia' and Bavaria. The Kaiser had clearly inspired the sermon.
