CHRISTCHTTRCH, 15th Aug.
The members of the Board of Trade, at its sittings this week, will enquire into the" prices of butter, cheesfe, coal, bacon, and milk, also , into a certaiii alleged breach of the Commercial Trusts Act, 1910, and into complaints regarding the high prices of particular classes of goods. The board will also meet the local ..millers in regard to matters arising out of the board's re r port on wheat, flour, and bread prices, and also in regard to legislation passed last session, particularly clause 32 of the Appropriation Act, which deals with the prevention of unfair competition by importers of wheat and flour.
