In the- northern districts of New Zealand stormy conditions have, at times, prevailed. Gales and scattered rain have been recorded during the past 24 hours. Although the barometer is still high, there are indications of a decided change in the early part of the week. The glass is likely to fall soon, with increasing : haze and cloudiness generally with fogs in the northernmost and southernmost district, and raon following.
