PARIS CONFERENCE
In the House of Representatives yesterday, Mr. T. M. Wilford gave notice to ask the Right Hon. the Prime Minister whether he will, seeing that an Economic Conference is now being held ai Pans, move ami telegraph to Paris the following, resolution : —"That this House views with satisfaction the recent pronouncement as to the reconstruction of the Empire upon broad Imperial lines, and wishes to second with all its strength the framing of a new Imperial Constitution on the lines of a supreme central authority with complete self-government of the' parts, thus producing the necessary and wished-for unity; machinery for co-operative action, common trade policy, and \*isible organic alliance, and desires to urge such economic co-opera-iion of the Allies as will ensure the prevention of irreparable tyranny over the productive forces of the world by any one nation, keeping in view trie great principle that the Allies sha-ll have first claim on each other's economic resources."
