FEATHERSTON CAMP.
The United Institute ait Fea-therston Ca.mp will be officially opened by the Hon. J. Allen, Minister for Defence, this evening.
Regimental Q.M.S. W. E. Grant has been appointed a 2nd lieutenant pn probation.
The following temporary appointments of n.c.o.'s have been approved by the Camp Commandant (Lieut.-Col. N. P. Adams) : —
18th Reinforcements.
Mounted Rifles : To be sergeant-major, Cpl. W. L. Chambers; to be quarter-master-sergeants, Sergts. W. J. Sparkes, E. Cavers, W. A. Christie, J. R. Scorrar; to be lance-sergeant, Cpl. P. D. Tombleson; to be corporals, Cpls. S. W. Bagna-I, W. B. Pi-owan, and L. Scholes.
