AN EXCITING VOYAGE.
During the run to San Francisco from Newcastle the officers and crew of the' ship Talus had sufficient excitement to last them for some time. Twice she ran into hurricanes,, the first lasting three' days, and causing considerable damage aloft, whilst tho other did not continue so long, but it dul further damage about the deck. When off San Francisco further excitement arose, this timo one of the crew, C. Rusco, a seaman, being washed overboard. He was rescued after somo difficulty; and "when examined was found to bb severely damaged about the head.
