MANY TRADES.
Sixty men enrolled in the Wellington Waterside Workers' Union in one month (according to "The Watersider") represented twenty different callings. Labourers and watersiders were in greatest number, hut there were also a minister of religion, a chemist's assistant, a railway man, a painter, a fencer,' a cook, to say nothing of drivers, seamen, firemen, and others.
