TENNYSON'S GREAT SEA BATILE
At the Town Hall on Tuesday next, '. the Wellington Musical Union will give its second concert of the season, comprising Stanford's "Revenge," which describes the great sea fight between a ] British warship and a Spanish fleet; also "Joan of Arc." Miss Phyllis Hanify will play Weber's "Concerto in F Minor." Madame Wielaert, of Auckland, has been specially engaged for the soprano role, and this will be her first appearance before a Wellington audience since her return from Britain. Mr. H. F. Green, of Masterton, will sing the tenor music, and Messrs. C Clarkson and F. Charlton have been entrusted with the baritone music. The b.ox plan is at the Bristol, where 3s and 2s seats can be reserved.
