GERMAN BULLION FROM SAMOA
FOUR AND A-HALF TONS. (.BY TELEGRAPH.— PRHBS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, 11th October. About four and a-half tons of German bullion was brought to Auckland to-day from Samoa. This consisted of money that was in circulation when Samoa was captured, and it has since been replaced by British coinage. The money was sent on to Wellington by train.
