END OF THE SESSION

The present arrangements are that the ■work of the session shall be completed some time before midday to-morrow. It is regarded as a feasible proposition that the Bills on the Order Paper of to-day can be disposed of by the early hours of the morning, and the Appropriation Bill (the last measure of the session) will in all probability be signed by the Governor some hours before the Reinforcements march through the streets of Wellington. Several members have already left for their' homes, and the end of an all-night sitting will probably see a bare quorum present.
