! MEN" WENT NORTH TO-DAY. Amongst the passengers from Lyttel Iton by the Maori this morning were 82 miners who have joined the Tunnelling Corps, which is to be sent to the front. Together with 21 others, who enrolled in Wellington, they left by the midday express for Auckland, where they will undergo a course of training in camp As the men marched through the streets to the railway station their physique was favourably commented upon, and they should give a good account of themnelTeß in the siege warfare upon which they are to enter.
