PETONE GLUB. The annual meeting of the Petohe Cricket Chxb was presided over by Dr. Ross. Six new membere were elected. The election, of officers resulted as follows: — President, Dr. Ross (unopposed): vice-presidents, Messrs J Rogers, A. Coles, and H. Palmer; club captain, Mr. E. W. Smyrk; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. A Smith; committee Messrs. A. Taylor, G. Wilkes, E. Tregar, W. S. Brice, A. T>oneghue; delegates to Cricket Association, Messrs. D. M'Kenzie, G. WUkes, and E. W. Smyrk ; selection committee, Measrs. W. S. Brioe, E. Tregar, E. W. Smyrk; auditor, Mr. Joseph Piper (re-elected). It was decided to enter teams for the senior, junior, and third-class competitions, and to open tiie season with a scratch match next Saturday. _
