N.Z. RIFLE BRIGADE

EARL OF LIVERPOOL'S OWN APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS His Excellency, the Governor has been pleased to abolish the designation of "The Trentham Regiment" ("The Earl of Liverpool's Own") and to approve of the regiment's inclusion in a brigade to be designated "The New Zealand Rifle Brigade" ("The Earl of. Liverpool's Own"). His Excellency lias approved of the following appointments of officers -to the Brigade, Ist and 2nd Battalions, New Zealand Expeditionary Force, with the ranks set against their names, and to approve that where an officer holds in the New Zealand Staff Corp or permanent unit of the Territorial Force a rank different from that here set against his name, he shall hold such latter rank temporarily during his employment with the New Zealand Rifle Brigade.
