WAR REGULATIONS
NEW PROVISIONS ADOPTED. Tho War Regulations Bill (ISTo. 2) was read a second time without discussion in tho House of Representatives last night. In Committee the Minister explained that it was not desired to disturb any existing contracts should tho Government requisition uny factories for tho supply of war munitions. Clause 12. ho said, which made the penalty for the breaches of the regulations twelve months' imprisoninont, was to mcot the desire of the Imperial authorities to have a uniform law throughout the Empire. The Bill passed through committee unamcuiflofi and was mad a third time.
