AMERICAN SYMPATHY WITH THE ALLIES
CENTURY OF ANGLO-AMERICAN PEACE. (TIMES ANP BTDNET EDN BEKTICES.) (Received October 5, 8 a.m.) LONDON, 4th October. Speaking at a banquet, Mr. J. H. Choate (ex-Ambassador for the United States to Great Britain) declared that ninety millions of Americans were in fullest sympathy with the Allies in their contest for liberty, justice, and civilisation. Senator Chauncey Depew (Chairman of the Board of- Directors of the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad Company) said that the American loan to the Allies was an ideal celebration of the century of Anglo-American £eace.
