FIRE AT LOWER HUTT
A fire .occurred at Lower Hntt at about 7 o'clock last evening, resulting in the total destruction of a motor-car and shed. The ecene of the outbreak was adjacent to the residence of Mr. James J. Burke, Belmont-road, and it is thought that the fire was caused by the ignition of benzine fumes. The car was a five-seater one, and the total damage sustained by Mr. Burke is estimated at £250.
