BOYS' CRICKET
CLUB FORMED AT LOWER HUM 1 . A -meeting was held at Lower Hutt on 'Wednesday to consider the proposal to form a local boys' cricket club. The Mayor (Mr. H. Baldwin) presided. The idea was enthusiastically taken up, and the new club is to be known as the Hutt Boys' Club, and to be affiliated with the Wellington Boys' Cricket League. It was resolved to enter at least two teams, and to commence the season with a challenge match on 16th October. The following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr. T. M Wilford, M.P. ; president, Mr. H. Baldwin ; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. Kitto, Burns, Aldersley, Walton, V. Riddiford, W. G. Poster, H. Williams, E. R. Bunny, and Wagg ; hon. secretary, Mr. R-.
