LIQUOR AT BELLAMY'S
In view of the example set by the King, a petition presented to Parliament yesterday asks that alcoholic liquors shall be banished from Bellamy's during the course of the war. The petition is signed by Mrs. Don, President of tho Women's Christian Temperance Union, and five office-bearers of that organisation. It was presented to the House by Mr. A. S. Malcolm. In accordance with the requirement of the law, a poll will bo taken ehortly on the question of the continued supply of alcoholic liquor at Bellamy's. This is done with eaoh new Parliament.
