FOG OVER ALL
Very foggy and humid conditions of weather ruled over all parts of the country and heavy rain fell in parts during the night. The barometer has fallen, especially about Cook Straits, and the centre of a, cyclonic disturbance is apparently situated west of Cape Egmont. The glass is likely to fall for a few hours. The wind is changing in the north to south, and in the Southern districts by east to south. The wind force ia strong to gale. The weather may be described as likely to be cold, squally, and showery, with heavy showers and rivers running high.
