A PURE WATER SUPPLY.
Essential to Successful Dairying. Mr. Blanche, Expert Decp=Well Borer. The man v/ho depends upon creeks and dams of stagnant water during the summer time for his dairy herd to drink is not studying his own interests, because it is a.n admitted fact that pure water, and plenty of it, is essential to successful farming, and stock will thrive better, and give a greater yield of milk or wool as the case might be, where plenty of good water is to be obtained. Now to come to the point, the only way to procure a satisfactory flow is by drilling down into solid rock or deep-seated gravel deposits, because by reaching these depths it is perfectly filtered by the great amount of material through which it passes, and right in Palmerston North there is a gentleman well known for his great success as a deep-well borer — it is Mr. G. Hr Blanche, who resides on the Foxton line, and he has made a lifetime study of well-boring, and many excellent examples of his work are to be seen throughout Palmerston North and adjoining districts. Mr. Blanche has never yet had a failure. Wherever he has under-* taken the task, artesian water has been obtained, and splendid flows at that. His plamfc is a very extensive one, comprising as it does several of the very latest* boring machines, both for steam and oil power, and he is prepai-ed to undertake wells of any size and depth. As previously pointed out Mr. Blanche 'has had over twenty years' practical experience' in this line, and from the writer's personal knowledge there is no one in New Zealand to-day who has had such wonderful success in the boring oE wells. Farmers the country over are given to somewhat neglect water supply, and it is a fact that in some of the dairying districts around Palmerston North cows have had to bo driven miles to creeks or rivers during the past dry summer season when for an expenditure of a few pounds which could be saved in the extra milk supply a good artesian well couM be provided by Mr. Blanche. Farmers, just think one minute ; get in touch, with this expert, and spo what lie can do for you. Atldresj-'l^xton r-'U9*r -'U9* J?^Jaißr-
