EXPORT OF POTATOES PROHIBITED
Under section 47 of the, Customs Act, 1913, as extended by section 24 of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, the Government has prohibited the export of potatoes from the Dominion to any destination save with the consent of the Ministor of Customs, such consent to be granted only on the making by the exporter, or by a responsible agent, servant, or representative pf the exporter, of a statutory declaration as to the ultimate destination of the consignment so to be exported.
