PATRIOTIC GOLF
The first, of the competitions for the benefit of the Wounded Soldiers Fund, a ladies' medal handicap, will be played to-morrow simultaneously on all the courses throughout the Dominion. The men's match will be played on Saturday, under similar conditions, both competitions being conducted by the New Zealand Golf Association. The whole of the entrance fees at Is for each player will be handed to the fund. A prize in the shape of a complete kit of golf clubs will be presented to tho winners by E. S. Douglas and J. Watt, the Mdramar and Heretaunga golf professionals.
