SPORTS CARNIVAL
Given fine weather the carnival to be held on the Basin Reserve to-morrow afternoon and evening under the auspices of representative sports bodies should prove highly attractive and a source of considerable income to the Patriotic Fund. The grounds have been decorated, and will be illuminated by electric light in the evening, and a big programme of sports has been arranged, including races, football matches, sideshows, mock court, an open-air concert by well-known artists, and music by three bands. A grand procession will leave the Government Buildings at 2.15 p.m., and tbo committee will be glad of jWy jgai-dgrtpft iimi, rn^y b&Jazlhsxamna.*
