COMPULSORY SERVICE IN BRITAIN
FRENCH COMMENT. PARIS, 28th May. The Journal dcs Debats, differing from the majority of French papers, says that the question of compulsory service in Britain is not of practical importance, now that over two million men have volunteered. Perhaps a greater number could not be utilised. A more urgent reform is the militarising of the wpmen making munitions.
