AGE OF RECRUITS
TO THE BDITOR, Sir, — I see from The Post to-night that more men Jiro wanted to make up tho 7th Reinforcements and the extra 2000 promised. I believe in Britain recruits are taken at 18 years of age, and in Canada at 19, and as far as I can tee New Zealand youths are as well developed as those of tho Motherland. Why insist that those enlisting here be 20 ? — I am. etc., BRITON. 20th May, 1915.
