ANGLICAN BOYS' HOME
Bishop Sprott presided at the annual meeting of the Wellington Anglican Boys' Home last evening. The report (already published in The Post) was adopted. The following were elected officebearers : Patron, the Bishop of Wellington; president, Yen. Archdeacon C. C. Harper; vice-presidents, the Revs. A. L. Hansell, G. B. Stephenson. W. Fancourt, and Mr. J. W. A. Marchant; secretary, tho Rev. W. H. Walton ; treasurer, Miss M. A. Marchant; Board of Control, Mesdames Reeves and Croll, Miss Climio, Messrs. J. W. Henderson, G. G. Bridges, and E. H. Ballachey; auditor, Mr. S. M. Hobbs. Archdeacon Harper moved and Mr. Henderson seconded—" That in view of the great necessity for extending this work the executive be urged to do its best in the present year to establish another home in the diocese of Wellington." It was resolved that the society be incorporated as the Wellington Anglican Boys Homes Society.
A , collision occurred yesterday at Raroa-road, Aro-street Hill, between a motor wagon and a. motor cycle and sidecar. The cycle and car, which were driven by Mr. S. W. Moult, were almost completely smashed. Mr. Moult waß lucky to escape with only a few scratches. The road at the point where the accident occurred is very narrow and ft niotoi* lorry, occupies all the ..apace.
