Co have received the following Cable from London : —"The annual report states there \vae brought forward £9194. The gross rrofitt total £146,000; dividends and in-co;ne-tax, £119,400; depreciation, £23,000, war fund contribution, £1000; transfer to Horahora power plant, £5450; leaving to Carry forward £5460. NEW BIG RIVER. The secretary of the Now Big Hirer Company telegraphs from Reefton:—' "April returns, 2?50a ledwt melted cold, from 336 tons stone. Cyanide yielded sldfc 14dwt bullion from 400 ton's Bdnde, TotAi estimated value, £1380."
