RUGBY FOOTBALL
REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. The Wellington Rugby Referees' Association held its first fortnightly meeting of the season last night* Mr. E. Wylie presiding ov£f an attendance of about fifteen members. ' Mr. Wylie was elected delegate to the New Zealand Referees' Association, and it was decided to oommunioate again with the Auckland and Chrktchurch Associations regarding nomination for affiliation ■with the New Zealand body. Messrs. Le Cren (late of Auckland Association), H. J. Piokering. and J. Freeman were eleoted members. Mr. G. O. Fache, who was recently oleoted president, was welcomed to tho meeting, and in responding he stated that ho vronld, if necessary, '"lake a whistlo" during the season.
