BASEBALL
At a meeting last night of the Manage* ment Committee of the Wellington Baseball League the proposed tour through New Zealand of the Stanford University team was thoroughly discussed and a sub' committee was net up to go into' details. The Rev. F»the> O'Leary and Messrs, A. R. Durant, and W. Wadman were elected to the committee. Much routine business was transacted and various club delegates reported increased membership, and favourablo prospects for tho wintes games.
